As a laxative, internal administration is recommended (overnight or on an empty stomach half an hour before meals), with adults taking 10.0-30.0 grams dissolved in 100 ml of water, and for children, the calculation is based on 1.0 g for each year of life, dissolved in 100 ml of water.

As a choleretic agent for normalizing bile function, internal administration of 1 tablespoon of a 20-25% solution is recommended three times a day.

For blind probing, on an empty stomach and lying on the right side, administer 200 ml of warm 10% magnesium sulfate solution in small sips for 30 minutes (if there is no effect, the dosage can be increased to 25%). Afterward, apply a warm compress to the given area for 1.5-2 hours.

Blind probing is performed once every 5-7 days, and for prevention of exacerbations, once every 2-3 weeks.

For duodenal probing (via probe), introduce a warm solution of magnesium sulfate (50 ml of 25% solution or 100 ml of 10% solution).
